The gorgeous hairstyle originated in 1871, and it was used in a short story named “Our new congressman”, where it was described as a modern hairstyle. There are different types of French braids.
These beautiful braids can be done in two types:.
A Dutch braid is pretty simple where you have to put all the three sections of hair under each of them rather than putting them over each other. It gives a neat look.
It’s similar to the French braid. It originated in the 19th century, and back then, it was called Grecian braid. To make a fishtail braid, you have to divide two sections of hair rather than three. You need to take a small amount of hair from each section as you keep making the braid.
1 - Separate your hair into three sections.
2 - Take the first or the left section and put it over the middle section, and then under the right section, take the right section and put it over the middle section and then under the left section.
3 - Repeat the task, add more hair as you take it, and cross it with other hairs.
4 - Once all of the hair is taken under the braid, and you have reached the nape of your neck, simply make a normal braid by repeating the steps.

1 - First, you have to section off your hair down the back of your head and then one side away with the hair using a three-clip extension. A two-clip extension or a one-clip extension will also do the job for you.
2 - Take a comb and section the curved section of hair, and put the hair away with some hair clips. Then, you are going to use a three-clip extension until the extensions are under the braid, and the braid is going to hide everything.
3 - Section the thin line of your right part under the three clip extensions you just clipped in and then clipped into the clip extension.
4 - Now, you will let all your hair down and then take one clip extension and place that in the front of your hair.
5 - After you have placed all the extensions, you are ready to French braid this side. You have to use the hair extensions and when you reach the end of the braid then take a clear elastic and secure braid, or an elastic that matches for hair color. Spread the braid with hair spray, tuck your hair ends to minimize hair sticking out of the braid.
6 - Just give it a good sprinkle of hairspray on the front and the back of the braid, so now you have to do the same thing on the other side, so you have two braids. Start sectioning off the hair in a curved line and clipping the free clip extension, then section off a small amount of hair under the three clip extensions that you just clipped and then clip in a two clip extension.
7 - You have to let your hair down and then clip in the one clip extension at the top of your hair. Now you just have to French braid your hair, so you have two beautiful braids. So this is how to French braid hair with extensions. You may refer to this video for further information.
There are numerous advantages of the French braids with extensions:
1 - While making this braid, we take a lot of hair from all over the head. It makes the process less hurtful and cozier. So French braids are very comfortable.
2 - It can also restrict the hair that is too small to reach the backside of the neck.
3 - French Braids look gorgeous.
There is some negative to everything, and so is the case with French braids with extensions. It has some disadvantages. It is more difficult to make a French braid than a normal braid because it is pretty complex to take hair while making the braid.
These braids can carry a huge possibility of having hair get tangled while making a French braid. To avoid this, You have to keep brushing the hair and make sure that it is detangled before doing that.
